We are ordering our fair share of takeout these days, so I thought why not round up what’s in our current rotation + some great suggestions from you guys over on Instagram! As we order more takeout in Saint Louis, I’ll continue to update this post!
Tried and True
Salt + Smoke: They have a family meal deal for $49.99 that will feed up to 6 people! We had it last weekend and it was AMAZING! Tons of leftovers too.
SugarFire Smokehouse: Another one that has been in heavy rotation for us. No family meal deal (at least not at our location), but great food always!
Rosalita’s: We need to order from here again soon. We had Rosalita’s early on in the whole quarantine thing and they weren’t serving their Family Packs yet (4 options)! Oh and did I mention they have margs to go too!
Katie’s Pizza and Pasta: One of my all time favorite restaurants in Saint Louis has a great Mother’s Day menu available, and during these crazy Covid times they also have frozen pizzas available for pick up!
The Post: If you’re in the mood for some good ol’ bar food then check out The Post. I love their original cheesesteak!
The Wandering Sidecar Bar: Ok so I haven’t had this yet, but I’m picking up drinks from them tomorrow! They are exactly what their name sounds like…a traveling sidecar that sells booze! YES PLEASE! Check their IG to see where they are this week!
Follower Recommendations
Nathaniel Reid (starting May 12th): If you’ve never been to Nathaniel Reid, it’s worth a visit. The most amazing dessert creations and various other treats etc. My personal fave are the almond croissants (pictured on their IG below)!
Layla: Two locations, one in The Grove and one in Webster. We haven’t done carryout yet, but we did dine here back in Jan and it was so good! Their burgers are a must!
Nacho Mama’s: Awesome Tex-Mex located in Rock Hill! They have a drive through too! If you’re placing a to-go order they just ask that you call ahead.
Olive and Oak: Tons of their classic menu items available for curbside pick up! Order online!
Mission Taco: Several locations, Streets of Saint Charles, The Loop, CWE and Soulard! They have to-go margs! BOOM!
Fallon’s: An Irish bar and grille located in Ellisville and Olivette.
Pasta House: Four different family meal deals to choose from that feeds 4 for $35 or less! They have a special Mother’s Day feast menu that will feed 6 or more too!
Hi Pointe: They win coolest website for sure! And some pretty damn good burgers too from what I understand. Adding to our list! FYI the downtown location is temporarily closed so visit their location on McCausland.
Gioia’s: A tradition on The Hill since 1918, plus there’s one in Creve Coeur too! Open for pick up!
Robata: Curbside pick up for sushi and ramen located in Maplewood! Sign me up!
