This is our first year searching for Saint Louis summer camps for Layla. In years past, she was always in daycare, but this year she will be attending a few summer camps around the area. I quickly realized that searching for Saint Louis summer camps is a bit daunting which is a good and bad thing. A good thing because there are lots of options, a bad thing because the search is time consuming. Much like my 5 Best Coffee Shops to Work From in Saint Louis post, I will be updating this post frequently as summer sign ups are starting to begin.
Want access to my Google doc that summarizes tons of the local camps by category, age groups, price etc throughout the STL area?

Saint Louis Summer Art Camps for Kids
Layla loves doing arts and crafts, so getting her enrolled in a few creative camps this summer is at the top of my list. Here are a few I am considering…

Registration for all classes is now open! The first sessions begin 6/1 and prices range from $170 – $200 for full week 1/2 day classes.

A paint your own pottery studio located in Creve Coeur. They offer several classes when school is out, but haven’t released their summer camp schedule yet. I will update this post once it’s available!
Saint Louis Summer Sports Camps for Kids
Layla has really taken a liking to soccer, so this summer we plan to get her enrolled in a soccer camp or two. I have included a few of the soccer camps we are considering, as well as some other great active / sports related camps in and around Saint Louis!
Jump Camp is available at The Family Church in Chesterfield Valley for the first two weeks of June (two sessions, 4 days long). Kids are broken up by age group and I have had great things about this fun camp!
With several locations in and around Saint Louis, Vetta is a great summer camp option. Their camps are not sports specific, but do incorporate several sports activities. There are full day camps as well throughout the entire summer.
This camp came recommended by a friend. Joe Clarke Soccer Camps have been around since 1983. This camp falls the first two weeks of summer (which is nice because that first week I haven’t seen a whole lot available). Camps are half and full days and take place at Chaminade High School.
If you also have a soccer lover in your fam, another great option for is the St. Louis Soccer Association. They have tons of camps in and throughout the STL area!
****Be sure to check your local school districts and parks and recreation websites for details on other sport specific camps! Many offer tons of options at various price points and times!****

This will be Layla’s 4th year participating in one of the storybook ballet camps offered by Saint Louis Ballet. The camps are offered for ages 3 – 6 at various times throughout June and July. The 3-4 year old camps are 3 days long, and the 5-6 year olds attend for 4 days. They learn a simple routine to various storybook tales, plus decorate an old ballet shoe too! The last day there is a small performance!
