We have lived in our house for almost 8 years now. When we moved in there was LOTS to be done. Our master bathroom went through a complete reno. I always love making simple updates here and there, so during quarantine I got the itch to do a simple bathroom makeover! Read on to see!
1. Beach Print by Frills Paper // 2. Hearth and Hand Black Shower Hooks from Target // 3. Striped Shower Curtain by Hearth and Hand at Target // 4. Opalhouse Wastebasket from Target // 5. Small pink faux flower arrangement // 6. Turkish Rug via Etsy (don’t own this yet, but want something like it)
The Before
So our shower doesn’t have a door which means we have a shower curtain and it gets switched out every couple of years. This is one of those years. The previous one we had was plain white (shown below). There used to be a grouping of 4 prints that hung on the wall above the crazy light switches, and it was time for those to go too (hence why you do not see them there).
And for some grins, here’s what this space looked like 8 years ago… YIKES!
The After
I knew I wanted a new shower curtain…something that wasn’t all white because that is so hard to keep clean. I found this simple ticking stripe shower curtain at Target for $25!
This 20×16 beach print was the perfect size for this space and adds just enough detail! It’s from Frills Paper (check out her shop for more fun prints too)!
The woven grass wastebasket was actually in my office, but I decided it fit our bathroom decor better so I moved it.
I much prefer fresh flowers, but that isn’t realistic to ALWAYS have fresh flowers on hand so this small faux floral arrangement adds the right touch! I’m still on the hunt for a small colorful Turkish rug for this room too!
