Spring is a great time to purge things you no longer wear or decorate with. And with many of us spending a lot more time in our homes right now, it’s a nice time to update your spring home decor. I have rounded up 9 simple ways to spruce up your space!
Fresh Flowers
There’s just something about having fresh flowers in the house. I love tulips this time of year, and I try to grab a bunch of them when I go to my local grocery store. Trader Joe’s obviously always has the best assortment of fresh flowers that are affordable too. One thing I like to do is reuse old candle jars as vases. In order to get the remaining wax out of almost burned out candles just place them in the freezer and you should be able scrap/pop out the wax pretty easily.

New Throw Pillows
My husband would say I have an obsession with throw pillows, but whatever. This is an easy update because you don’t even have to buy actual pillows. You can buy throw pillow covers (less expensive) and put an insert from a different throw pillow you already have into one of the covers.

Spring-y Kitchen Towels
One of my favorite brands right now is Geometry.House. They are a small biz that makes the cutest and most absorbent kitchen towels! They have tons of prints and patterns – including ones to go along with holidays etc. You can use code EMMY15 for 15% off your purchase too!

Scented Candles
A fresh smelling candle is a great way to update your spring home decor! I love love love the Capri Blue candles sold at Anthropologie. They last forever and the scent is fab! Opalhouse from Target has some great candles too!

Update Your Wall Art
There are tons of options on Etsy where you can snag printables and switch out ones that you already have. But you can always find great framed wall art at places like Target too! Here a few that caught my eye!

Floral-y Wreath for the Door
Our front door is yellow which I love, but I also enjoy decking it out with a nice wreath too. My go to for wreaths is ALWAYS Target. They hold up well and there are several brands within the store that fit my home style. The go to’s are Opalhouse and Hearth and Hand.

Spring Table Runner
We often host an Easter brunch at our house, but things are a little different this year. I usually grab a festive spring table runner, but going to pass this year. If you’re in the market though, here a few I love! I actually have the first one shown below from World Market. I’ve had it for years and it has held up well!
