We are heading back to the happiest place on earth this October (you can read all about our first Disney experience here), so that means I need all of the cute Disney clothes that I can find! No, I’m not talking about matching head to toe family outfits, but I am all about some cute outfits for the kids (and maybe a few subtle pieces for myself). Steve on the other hand…no chance in getting him in any mouse gear.
Our first trip to Disney, I was WAY more prepared with outfits (and slightly stressed). This time we are kind of winging it. We always use a Disney planner to book our stay / meals because that stuff takes a lot of time. Last time we went to Cinderella’s Royal Table and as much as I’d love to go back, we are sitting it out this time. But totally worth it if you haven’t been before! Which leads me to my first category when shopping for outfits for Disney…costumes.
Where to buy Disney Costumes for kids?
If you have a little girl, then a costume is a must (especially if you’re dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table). There are tons of choices for the boys too! From Amazon to Gap, there are tons of cute options at all price points too! My kids love playing dress up so add the costume to a toy area so you get the best bang for your buck long term!
Would make a great baby shower gift for a Disney fanatic! Hint – this retailer has Snow White and Rapunzel versions too!
This is a great deal for the Holidays!
Layla has this and it’s the most hilarious thing and she plays with it ALL OF THE TIME! She wore it to Disney the last time we went.
Where to find Disney themed pajamas?
Another item to grab if you’re heading to Disneyworld (or even if you’re not) are cute Mickey / Minnie jams! Obviously kids need pajamas year round and these are some cute, not tacky, options.
This pair strays from the mouse ear theme going on, but how cute are these?!
Another great baby shower gift option!
Slightly pricier option, but will hold up well!
Swimwear for Disneyworld
If you’re staying on site at Disney and there’s a pool, then your kids are likely going to want to swim. If you’ve been here awhile you know our family spends a lot of time around the water so we have a large selection of swimwear around our house. Since we are nearing the end of summer, now is a great time to grab a few character swimmies at an affordable price!
Kids Shoes for Disneyworld
Ok, there is no way around this one…COMFORT IS A MUST! You will do so much walking at Disney, and nobody has time for blisters. I’ve round up some character options, but also year round kicks that will coordinate with all the character clothes!
My kids both have these and love them. I have been buying these for years. They hold up well and keep the little toes safe!
Dresses / Skirts/ Bottoms for Disney
Layla basically lives in skirts and dresses so no doubt she will want all the character skirts and dresses I can find. And these will get their wear year round too! I also found several none Disney themed pieces that will work well and she can wear year round!
This would be SO cute with a plain colored tee!
Shirts to wear at Disney
This is the category to focus on if you have boys. There are soooo many cute tees out there! I had a hard time narrowing down my picks for Henry. I actually found a TON that I love from Kohl’s!
Cute Accessories for Disneyworld
Ponchos, hoodies, hats, purses and more! They put mouse ears on all.the.things.
This comes in a TON of cute colors and is only $11! It’s currently on its way to our house now.
Scroll down for a mommy and me matching option!
Cute mom clothes to wear at Disney
I’m not one to wear character anything, however I will make the exception when at the Happiest Place on Earth! Not all options are created equal, which is why I’ve rounded up the cuteness for ya!
I bought this and it’s super soft! Vintage vibes!
Similar to the girl version above!
Where have you found fun Disney clothes? Tell me in the comments! I’ll be back in October with a post to show you exactly how we styled everything!
