Amazon just makes spending money so dang easy! Every week we have a few packages show up on our porch from Amazon, so I have decided to make a my Amazon Favorites a regular occurrence here on Emmy Lou Styles. It will just be a compilation of stuff myself or my husband has bought on Amazon recently and our honest feedback. So without further adieu here is the first rendition of my Amazon Favorites!

OROLAY WOMEN’S THICKENED DOWN COAT
AKA “The Amazon Coat” or “The UES Coat (upper east side)”…I took awhile before caving and buying this one. But I tried my friends on and immediately got the hype, here’s why:
- Covers the bum
- TONS of pockets (which who doesn’t love this feature)
- It’s warm
- Has a hood
- Comes in various colors including black, can’t go wrong.
- Quality materials
I really see this coat sticking around for me for the next several years. It has the feel and quality of a coat that should cost $300 or more, but is around $100-$140 (depending when you look because Amazon switches the price a lot).

BOWTIE SCRUNCHIE ELASTICS
History sure does repeat itself doesn’t it? I cannot believe scrunchies are back! Personally I can’t get onboard with a full blown scrunchie, but these are a little more low key scrunchie. These come in a set of 3 and I love that they look like they are from Madewell. I figured Layla and I can share these this spring and summer.
SQUARE BLUELIGHT BLOCKING GLASSES
These have been one of my top sellers this month! I think every one is intrigued by the idea of preventing any harm we are unknowingly doing to our eyes by looking at screens 24/7. At $20 I was willing to give these a try. I’ve been wearing for about 2 weeks now and I do feel like my eyes feel less strained than when I don’t wear them. I can immediately feel a difference when I take them off so I feel like they are definitely doing something!
EYEBROW AND FACIAL HAIR REMOVAL RAZORS
I recently tried dermplaning for the first time at a med spa and it was pretty cool. I felt like the first week or two after my make up went on SO well. I then did a little digging and low and behold this little set was available on Amazon. This is by no means going to give you the same experience as a professional, but it does help keep those strays at bay for less than a cost of your morning Starbucks.
BEDHEAD CURLIPOPS CURLING WAND FOR LOOSE CURLS
If you follow any beauty or fashion blogger they are likely telling you that you should buy the T3…and I can’t speak to that because I haven’t tried it. But I have tried the Bedhead Curlipops Curling Wand and for under $20, it’s legit.
HANGING TOILETRY BAG
This toiletry bag is probably by far one of THE BEST purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon. I snagged this right before a big international trip that we took last year and it fit everything! It comes in a ton of colors and prints too! Under $20!
OTTERBOX SYMMETRY PHONE CASE
If you’re looking for a stylish but durable phone case then look no further. This is an Otterbox without the clunk that you may think of Otterbox as. This case comes in several colors and prints as well and it’s under $40.
INFINITIPRO BY CONAIR HAIRDRYER
Similar to what I said about the curling wand…many bloggers will tell you to buy the T3 hair dryer or the Dyson . But if you’re looking for an affordable option, this little guy is great. I really try to avoid blow drying my hair if I don’t have to. But this one does it SO fast and my hair feels soft and straight afterwards. It’s worth a try if you’re in the market.
SILICONE FACE MASK BRUSH
Last, but certainly not least are these silicone face mask brushes. Not a necessity by any means, but if you like to do a mask fairly often, these great for getting that even application.
