I have shared this info on my stories from time to time, but I’m an affiliate influencer with rewardStyle. Anytime you click on links from my blog, swipe up in my IG stories, or follow me through the liketoknow.it app those links are tracking to look for purchases made through your click. If you make a purchase through a link I share, then I earn a small commission on the total amount of the purchase you made.
Through the backend, I am only able to see the item that you clicked on to get to that retailers page. I’m not able to see what other items you might have purchased during your transaction. Affiliate marketing is a lot like shopping in a brick and mortar store. If an associate helps you, and you buy only one thing that she showed to you but you add on a few other things that you found on your own, the associate would still get credit for the entire purchase you made. I greatly appreciate it when a purchase is made through my links. I work very hard to bring you content that I love and there is a lot of behind the scenes work that happens in order to do so.
