Happy Wednesday friends! So excited that we are halfway through the week. We are heading to the home opener for the Cardinals tomorrow so it has me in full on summer mode and glossing over spring completely (since STL probably isn’t going to have one anyways)! Hence why I’m sharing this adorable pair of scalloped tie waist shorts that I scooped up recently from Nordstrom.

The Fit
These are by BP. Which if you’re not familiar with that, it is Nordstrom’s own affordable brand that has on trend pieces for the everyday girl on the go. These shorts are more of a midrise (so not too high on the waist). They zip in the back and have a super cute tie waist. These fit true to size for me (wearing an XS). I tried the S on they fit but I liked how they looked better slightly more fitted. These are a great length for wearing around on the weekends while attending all of your upcoming summer BBQ’s (and even chasing after those toddlers in some cute flat sandals while sipping your IPA ;)). These are so easy to pair with a tucked in plain white tee (as I’ve shown here), but you could easily dress this up with a pair of block heels and a lace cami (I’ll link some ideas for you below) and wear it to dinner with friends.

The Color
These are a nice neutral olive green which tends to look great on all skin tones (even my pasty white legs at the moment)! The white scallop trim is nice because it allows you to easily pair a white tee or tank with it but you could also venture out to other colors as well.

The Price
As if the fit and color weren’t enough, these cuties are under $40! Say whaaa?! Anytime I can snag an item that has multiple ways I can style it, then it’s a win. The fact that I can wear these around on the weekend with my kids, but also dress them up for a date night sold me.
