I think it’s becoming pretty clear that I often like to spend my lunch breaks shopping and browsing the latest and greatest that some of my fave retailers have to offer. Before kids, I used to love nothing more than spending all day Saturday or Sunday shopping & browsing. Fast forward 4 years and I don’t exactly have time to do that (except over lunch). Anyways, on a recent outing I hit the Gap and had a little try on sesh. I picked things to try on that were neutral and could easily be mixed into your current wardrobe and last for a couple of seasons. I looked specifically for office appropriate looks.
Happy Monday!
Starting with this soft spun flutter sleeve cotton top. They didn’t have my size so this is too big (FIT TIP – size down. I’m wearing a S here). This would be great for layering under a jacket with jeans. You could also dress this up with the ponte zip dressier leggings I have on. Throw on a nice pair of heels and you’re set.
STYLE TIP – This shirt is kind of sheer, throw on a cami underneath
Why didn’t I buy this denim RUFFLE sleeve jacket? I’m trying to be good, but this is sooo cute. Keep it more casual by throwing it on over the cotton tee shown above.
FIT TIP: TTS (I’m wearing an XS)
Or wear it over this ruffle blouse for a slightly dressier look.
This swiss dot cascade ruffle top is great.

This black swing dress is the perfect LBD to add to your closet. I threw the denim ruffle jacket over it, but you could easily pair it with a cardigan too. This dress would be perfect with booties, tall boots or a pair of heels for a more dressed up look.

Lastly, I’m sharing this black and white plaid longer tunic button up. I have it paired with the side zip ponte pants. You could throw on a pair of boots or heels with this.
