We are halfway through the week – WHOOP WHOOP! And that calls for a round up of bright pink sweaters. This is a big color right now and is a great punch of brightness on cold and dreary days. I pulled together my top choices of varying price points so you don’t have to do the searching! Enjoy!
This sweater from H&M is the right price ($12.99)! The color is the perfect shade of bright pink too.
So the pink sweater I’m wearing in my IG pic is almost sold out on ASOS.com but they have plenty of other options. How cute is this one with the burgundy trim + bell sleeves!? ASOS always has Free Shipping when you spend over $40 and Free Returns too.
If you’re starting to follow along with my IG feed and blog posts you’re starting to see that I shop a lot at Forever 21. Especially for these “trendier” types of pieces that will go in and out of style with time. This one is right at $20.
Ok so bear with me…I know this isn’t pink, but for some reason the pink option isn’t showing up on nordstrom.com. I was in my local store this week, and they had a table full of this sweater in pink…so head to your local Nordstrom for this one.
I know I’ve said it before, but I’m long past the age of 21 however I cannot break myself from this store. The key (for me at least) is to only shop here online. And I LOVE their Contemporary line…higher quality and more stylish pieces in my opinion. I typically stick to only tops from here because I know they are something I might wear for one season and the cost won’t break the bank. My latest find was this ah-mazing vanilla colored cropped trumpet sleeved sweater! It is PERFECT with a pair of high waisted jeans as seen below:
This sweater also works well with a skirt because of the length that it is. It’s not too long so it won’t cover the skirt. It’s just the right length so that it hits at the top of it. I paired this sweater with the rose colored velveteen skirt from Madewell. But it would also look great with a denim or black skirt. Go buy this sweater! It’s $20 and comes in sizes S, M, L, and XL! Oh and it comes in a dusty pink color too. Score!
*Apologies for the quality of the pics below, but #momlife! What you see is what you get!
T G I F! Guys, Christmas is exactly 66 days away! I’m kind of starting to panic about all the fun little details that make the season special. I’m already browsing all the sites and looking high and low for the perfect matching, holiday PJ’s and festive fancy clothes for my littles. Sometimes I feel it’s a bit of a struggle to find cute / coordinating girl and boy matching outfits, but I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. The key is to buy coordinating pieces from the same retailer because the color families are the same. There are a few retailers who offer the same patterns / prints for both bro + sis so those are a go to as well. Grab a cup of joe’ in your favorite Holiday mug and get ready to start your Christmas shopping (sorry husbands)! 😉
We all know and love Carters and that we can count on them for super cute, quality pajamas at a great price! I mean how cute would your littles look on Christmas morning in matching Mr. & Mrs. Claus pjs! I’m giggling thinking about it. These are sitting in my cart as I type.
Another go-to for PJ’s is Old Navy. I LOVE these red and green striped sleepers because they are simple enough that if you wanted to personalize them with their names you could. And, they are totally gender neutral. They come in 6-12M up thru 5T!
If you can wait until November 5th and be on Target.com promptly at midnight, you might be able to score these P E R F E C T plaid pj’s (for the whole fam if that’s your jam) via Hearth and Home by Joanna Gaines!!! I will likely be online awaiting the arrival of a few items so I’m sure we can work out some sort of deal for me to shop for your if this power shopping thing isn’t exactly your forte. 😉
Still with me??? There are A LOT of options for Holiday attire. I usually splurge on one fancy outfit for the kids to wear on Christmas Eve and for pics with Santa. And then I grab a less dressy outfit for each of them for all of the other December activities (because you know there are plenty). Oh and red ballet flats are a must for all little ladies. Here is a round up of my faves!
Holiday plaids are the name of the game. I cannot get enough this time of year. Carter’s is truly bringing it with these perfectly plaid skirts and dresses for your little ladies and these dapper v-neck sweaters for your gents. Besides being the cutest coordinating plaids and colors, the prices are amazing. SHOP NOW!
Old Navy wins again with great prices and on-style pieces for all of your holiday style needs. I mean look at this plaid dress! And the pants coordinate nicely with the dress and such a handsome little sweater for little man!
Lastly, I’m sharing my favorite picks from Janie and Jack. They are known for having perfectly coordinating pieces for your bro/sis combos. It’s definitely a higher price point, but they will start running promos the closer we get to Christmas (I think Cyber Monday last year was 25% or 30%). They usually have the CUTEST plaid pants for little boys. And suspenders too! Hey, they are only little once and you can only dress them how YOU want for so long. Embrace it.
Floppy wool hats are the best accessory for the fall and winter months (particularly if you’re a mom). No shower Sunday?! Put a hat on it! I’ve rounded up a few that I’ve seen around the internet lately and I think you should treat yo’self!
This one is the perfect shade of maroon and this color is so on trend this season. Obviously the price is perfect-o too! It’s from Target’s new line A New Day, so it’s a great time to head to Target and check out all their new brands if you haven’t done so yet.
Ok so changing it up with this pick, here is a fedora option. It’s felt so it’s warm. It’s a lower profile option if you don’t want the “floppiness” of some of these other hats shown. It comes in one other color too.
I love this one because it’s the closest one I could find to the one I’m wearing in my IG post for you ladies. They call it a fedora, but I think it’s more of a floppy hat, but not large of a profile as some. 🙂 Also comes in camel.
Ladies, if you are in the market for a new fashionable sneaker let me introduce you to the adidas Neo Courtset. I love these because they have a vintage look to them and the navy is the perfect shade of blue (not too dark, not too light). They are also comfy! I’ve worn them for long periods of time and have no complaints. They can be worn a variety of ways, but I’m highlighting the three ways I have styled these so far, but honestly the possibilities are endless. Oh, and did I mention, they come in a total of 5 colors?!
Throw on a cute pair of leggings (these moto leggings are from Nordstrom last year but they have them again this season b/c they are that good). They are a little dressier than a plain black pair. Casual tunics or oversized sweaters look great paired with these sneakers! They are great for running to and from all of your weekend shenanigans.
So this is a great way to show off some of your raw hem style jeans since these are sneakers and you can see that detail because the jeans aren’t tucked into boots. Throw on an oversized sweater and you’re set!
