It’s no lie that I love a pop of leopard print in my wardrobe.  I mean let’s face it, leopard print is a neutral!  It kind of implies a sense of power too when you’re wearing it, and it can easily pull an entire outfit together.  I have rounded up my top 20 leopard print picks for fall!  Enjoy!

Happy Friday friends!  It’s a short work week for me as we are headed to the lake with friends for our annual (no kids) weekend!  Be sure to follow along on IG stories!  Before I go though, I wanted to share my latest must have with you! A bandana scarf!  Chances are you have one of these around the house just waiting to be worked into your wardrobe.  I’m sharing four easy ways to incorporate a bandana scarf into your next outfit!

By far the easiest way to “wear” a bandana scarf is to tie one to your purse!  It gives a bag a whole new look and it’s one that you don’t have to worry about whether or not you tied it right.  There really is no way to mess this up, trust me!

how to tie a scarf to a purse

Another way to wear your bandana scarf is to tie it like a bracelet around your wrist. You may need someone to help you (or maybe I’m just really uncoordinated) with this option, but here’s a quick tutorial for you to try:

  1. Lay scarf on flat surface
  2. Start rolling from one corner (making the roll widths to your desired liking)
  3. Lightly drape the rolled scarf atop your wrist with equal parts on both sides
  4. Wrap one side under, and then the other
  5. Tie in a loose knot (this is the part you may need assistance with)

There are many ways to accomplish the scarf around the neck look.  In this case I went for more of the western tie as I would call it.  I folded the scarf from one corner to the other to make a triangle and then loosely tied it in the back.  It’s the perfect accessory for dressing up an otherwise simple outfit.

In your hair

I love this one because you can wear it with long or short hair, with your hair down, or with your hair in a pony.  To get my look shown below, follow these steps:

  • Roll your scarf to your desired width
  • Put your hair in a pony
  • Place the scarf underneath with the ends coming to the top of your head
  • Loosely tie the ends on top of your head to your liking
  • Voila!

You kind of have to play with the knot a bit so it’s not sticking straight up.

Sunday Style | A Round Up of the Best Pajamas Under $50

Are you still rockin the sorority and frat t-shirts you got in college to bed each night?  Just me?  Well I’m on a mission lately to change this.  I have slowly started to build my pajama set collection and trade in these dingy tees for something cuter.  It seems like this is a trend all around lately given the number of amazingly cute options that I found out there.  So grab your morning cup of coffee and settle in (for 3 min or so) and snag yourself a cute pair of PJ’s.  Your husband or significant other will thank you!

Short Sets

Given the time of year, I love sleeping in matching short pajama sets.  There are so many cute prints right now, so there is literally something for everyone.  As I’m sure you’ve seen, fruits are on everything . . . particularly lemons.  And who can deny them, they are darling!  So let’s kick off this round up with a few fruity prints!

Pant Sets

Pajama pants used to be something I owned a TON of, but then in the last few years I have purged some things and gotten rid of a lot of older pairs.  PJ pants are always so easy to throw on with a tee or tank after work, and I’ve rounded up a few of my faves from across the web!

You can never go wrong with blue and white.  These colors look great on everyone and they are a timeless pattern!

You didn’t think I was done sharing fruit prints with you did you?  Old Navy always has us covered in the PJ pant department!

This black and white set is similar to the short version above (different brand), but great price and includes long sleeves and pants.  My daughter was born in the winter months so when I had her, I actually wore basically this set in a different brand.  It would be great for an expecting mom!

Sleep Shirts

Sleep shirts are another great option for feeling cute and staying cool in the warmer months.  I always find really cute ones at TJ Maxx and they are usually less than $20!

Another blue and white stripe (because, hello, timeless).  This one is under $30 and comes in a pink stripe too!

And last but not least, I give you this embroidered number.  We love the embroidered trend on shirts and denim lately, why not add it to your pajama collection too!  This one is under $20!

20 things you won’t believe are from Walmart!

I’ll be the first to admit, I don’t love going shopping in the actual store but recently I had to do some shopping in store and I’m so glad I did because I came across these top 20 things that you won’t believe are from Walmart!

Walmart has a few new brands.  One of them is called Time and Tru.  It appears there is everything from clothing to jewelry available under this brand.  These gold floral earrings are only $4.  I probably wouldn’t recommend wearing these if you have sensitive ears, but they would be so fun for dressing up a tee shirt and jeans!  These are only available IN STORE so I can’t link them for you.

These little quirky clear pouches were mixed in with the bags and purses.  They kind of have a look to them.  These would be perfect for throwing in your beach bag this summer.  Also can’t find these online, but look in the accessories area if you’re in a Walmart.

So these hard case suitcases are all the rage right now in the blogger world.  This rose gold one is pretty darn cute and the price is pretty darn great.  BONUS – it gets good reviews too!

Ummm, how stinking cute is this seersucker cap?  It was $3 so you can bet this one went home with me.  It will be perfect for the summer! How cute would it be to put a monogram on the front of this?? I’m not finding this one to link for you either, but this was located in the accessories area as well!

So I discovered these adorable rain boots prior to Christmas and snagged a blue pair for Henry.  They came in handy for a wet Easter egg hunt this past weekend. They have so many more colors now!  You can’t beat the price either. These are linked below!

Another super cool thing I found was this set of plates, cups and utensils.  It sort of reminded me of the stuff IKEA sells.  I can’t find this exact set on their website, but this same brand has the most adorable little graphic melamine plates for your tots!  These would make great Easter basket stuffers!

How to style denim overalls

Hey friends!  Today I’m sharing these denim overalls and how to style them with three different types of shirts.  This pair is from Free People and $100. Definitely a little more than I would’ve liked to spend, but this is one of those cost versus wear situations.  I know that I’ll have this pair for years to come because it is a classic look.

Adding a little texture with a fabric like lace dresses the look up a bit.  It adds a more feminine touch to the outfit and you almost forget that you’re actually wearing denim overalls like a child – haha!  This lace top works well because it is just the right amount of detail and it tucks nicely into the overalls without any weird bunchiness.

If you want to keep things on the chic side, try pairing your overalls with some simple stripes.  I love this top because it’s fitted, but also has this fun sleeve detail.  Simple little additions like this help to dress up your denim overalls.

Plain T-Shirt

Lastly, keep things super simple with a plain t-shirt.  I paired my booties with each of these options because I was short on time when we were taking pics(sorry guys)!  But you could easily pair this look with some slip on sneakers like these or these!  Oh and if you’re still reading at this point, scroll on so you can see a pic of how cute the back of these are!
