Happy Halloween / the last day of October! I’m slowly starting to get the hang of this blogging thing (I think) so I thought I’d take a minute to round up the month’s top 5 IG looks and link those items for you. I’m also including links to the booties pictured in my post today + a similar scarf (scroll to the bottom). Enjoy!
I snagged this Cozy Layering Sweatshirt on a recent trip to Target. It’s from Joy Lab (one of their amazing new lines) and it’s seriously the softest top I own right now. It looks great with a pair of leggings and sneakers for a cool, casual weekend style. I threw a hat on with it too to really give it that “I don’t really care, but I’m still gonna try” look.
Here are a few pics so you can get a better idea, but you’ll have to buy one so you can experience the amazing coziness of this sweatshirt.
T G I F ladies. Whew, what a week!! I thought I would close it out with a little round up of some fun purse backpacks for ya. It’s crazy how styles go in and out and make their way back into your closet. I can remember a backpack purse craze when I was in middle school. And I can still vividly remember what that one looked like. Anyways, back to present day – I recently snagged this Sam Edelman Fifi Fringe Backpack on major sale (comes in black too), but it’s currently sold out on Sam’s site :(. I did randomly find it on Walmart.com though so if you’re interested, click the link above. If the Sam bag isn’t your thing, I’ve pulled together some other great options. Treat yourself ladies, it’s Friday!
This one by Sole Society has plenty of pockets and a fold over flap. There is plenty of space inside too for all of your items. I love the little braided tassel detailing too.
Another great option for a gal on the go. It’s big enough to hold an iPad too. I like how it’s a backpack but has a bucket look to it. It comes in 4 colors, and the little pom pom is kind of cute. The gold hardware is nice too. $29 on Amazon!
We are halfway through the week – WHOOP WHOOP! And that calls for a round up of bright pink sweaters. This is a big color right now and is a great punch of brightness on cold and dreary days. I pulled together my top choices of varying price points so you don’t have to do the searching! Enjoy!
This sweater from H&M is the right price ($12.99)! The color is the perfect shade of bright pink too.
So the pink sweater I’m wearing in my IG pic is almost sold out on ASOS.com but they have plenty of other options. How cute is this one with the burgundy trim + bell sleeves!? ASOS always has Free Shipping when you spend over $40 and Free Returns too.
If you’re starting to follow along with my IG feed and blog posts you’re starting to see that I shop a lot at Forever 21. Especially for these “trendier” types of pieces that will go in and out of style with time. This one is right at $20.
Ok so bear with me…I know this isn’t pink, but for some reason the pink option isn’t showing up on nordstrom.com. I was in my local store this week, and they had a table full of this sweater in pink…so head to your local Nordstrom for this one.
I know I’ve said it before, but I’m long past the age of 21 however I cannot break myself from this store. The key (for me at least) is to only shop here online. And I LOVE their Contemporary line…higher quality and more stylish pieces in my opinion. I typically stick to only tops from here because I know they are something I might wear for one season and the cost won’t break the bank. My latest find was this ah-mazing vanilla colored cropped trumpet sleeved sweater! It is PERFECT with a pair of high waisted jeans as seen below:
This sweater also works well with a skirt because of the length that it is. It’s not too long so it won’t cover the skirt. It’s just the right length so that it hits at the top of it. I paired this sweater with the rose colored velveteen skirt from Madewell. But it would also look great with a denim or black skirt. Go buy this sweater! It’s $20 and comes in sizes S, M, L, and XL! Oh and it comes in a dusty pink color too. Score!
*Apologies for the quality of the pics below, but #momlife! What you see is what you get!
